An ancient assembly site of stone circles at Tingvatn connect modern day to the Iron Age, its rules and social structures. Rare and authentic artifacts have been discovered in the region some of which are on display in the Exhibition Hall. The fun begins when period-clothed storytellers demonstrate the usage of the tools and materials making it easier to imagine daily lives and struggles of this great Migration Period (375-550 CE).
Try your own hand at different types of take-home handcrafts like the pre-Latin Rune scripture and the time that separates us from the Iron Age may seem a lot shorter.
