Nordic games rooted in the Viking tradition are widely popular and fun outdoor activities for ages 8-100. Kubb, Bullring, Bow and Arrow are some of the engaging and easy to learn games to get you out of your chair. It all takes place on the Vigeland Estate lawn, a scenic encampment on the banks of the Otra river.
A campfire meal may be included in your visit and enjoyed on rustic and cosy sheepskin covered chairs. Home to the Fly-Fishing Club and «salmon lords», the area is steeped in salmon history and alternatively you may explore the record fishing boards and the inside of the historic Vigeland main house.
