Hold on to your hats (and helmets) on this adrenaline-filled day! Much of the hour long drive from the harbour is spent along the river Otra, the river you will be on today. When you arrive at the rafting centre you are met by your instructors and given all your equipment. Before you head down the grade 3–4 rapids you practice your skills and the important safety drills on calmer water. Then it is time for the wet and wild adventure to begin.
On board is an experienced rafting instructor and accompanying you in a kayak is an additional instructor. You paddle, you surf, you laugh and you shriek with delight, before a relaxing trip back to the ship by coach. This is an exhilarating way to spend the day and experience the nature of southern Norway. Ideal for the rafting novice and expert alike.
