RAIL BIKE ADVENTURE

A rail bike adventure is by far the most popular and fun way to experience Flekkefjord. The rail bikes are draisine tandem bikes especially designed for railway tracks and made to accommodate up to 2 cyclists with 1 adult or 2 children as passengers.  The tour takes off at the Flekkefjord Station and at the vantage point situated high in the terrain you are in for sweeping views of the city and its surroundings. Your guide points out fun facts and curiosities along the way and the handmade tunnels alone are quite impressive lit up by your headlamp. Check out the authentic old water tower that once supplied the steam locomotive the much-needed water and soak in the beautiful lake view in front of you. Along the way are rest stops and time for lunch before returning to the centre of Flekkefjord.
