Willow weaving and wine in Søgne
Get ready for a mesmerizing glimpse of genuine artisanship! In the small village of Søgne, nestled between a river and the sea, a creative couple created a fairy-tale homestead with Norwegian wild sheep and a vineyard to boot. Take in the views of the sheep farm, the river, and the wine ranks before an introduction to the growing of willow trees and willow weaving.

The tour includes a break to taste the best waffles in town at one of their cosy and stylish cafés, surrounded by redesigned furniture and artisan products made by the rehabilitation aftercare program participants.

ART AND SOUL
Nupen artist trail
A tour to some of the beautiful and monumental works of renowned Norwegian artist Kjell Nupen. He created his art using materials such as clay, paint, stone and glass, and became famous for his characteristic blue colour. Before his death in 2014, he was the mentor of art-loving Queen Sonja of Norway. On the Nupen trail you visit: the Ansgar Chapel, Søm Church, and Nupens signature works; a huge blue vase displayed at the park by the harbour.
