Solberg historical mineral mine
Put on your hard hat and prepare for an exciting and educational tour inside a real mineral mine a short ride from the Næs Ironworks. This is a unique opportunity to learn about everyday life and working conditions 300 years ago. The Solberg mine, in operation from around 1730 until circa 1870 was a direct supplier of magnetite iron ore to nearby Næs Ironworks.
